Carolina chickadees are here in East Texas year round and are regular visitors at seed feeders. I love the chick-uh-dee dee dee sound they make and their precise, lightning-fast way of snatching the exact seed they want. They’re hard to photograph because they seldom sit still for more than a few seconds. But when they do, and you’re able to get a good look at their adorable faces, you’ll want to keep them coming back over and over again.
