St. Petersburg, Russia
Helsinki, Finland
I took this shot of Paul and my mother-in-law in front of Catherine's Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. Much of architecture in this city was opulant in its day; but restoration would be much too costly and is being limited to national treasures. We had an English-speaking guide who was eager to share with us, and this day in St. Petersburg was one of the highlights of my travels.
Helsinki, Finland was a beautiful city that never got dark during the summer months--and the only place in the world I've ever been served moose for lunch, and then chocolate mousse for dessert!

Kathy & Iguana
Acapulco Bay
Paul paid a young Mexican boy in Cozumel to put this creature on me before I realized what was happening--yikes! South of the border, Iguanas are household pets; but I think I'll pass, thank you very much.
That's "yours truly" hanging up there over Acapulco Bay. Parasailing was quite an adventure and I opted to try it again.
