| I took this shot of Paul and my mother-in-law in front of Catherine's Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. Much of architecture in this city was opulant in its day; but restoration would be much too costly and is being limited to national treasures. We had an English-speaking guide who was eager to share with us, and this day in St. Petersburg was one of the highlights of my travels. |
